<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function allowing a consumer to create or correct a self image according to its recognition of reality. <P>SOLUTION: A method and an apparatus for correction of the body image can be used for a target person to correct the body image of the target person based on the self evaluation of an actual state of a body of the target person itself. It is possible for the target person to be encouraged to capture a primitive body image by using an image capturing apparatus. It is also possible for the target person to be encouraged to execute the self evaluation of the actual state of the body of the target person itself.
