<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of being thinned while satisfactorily keeping operability. <P>SOLUTION: In this touch panel 100, two substrates 105 and 130 having resistant films 111 and 131 formed on the surfaces are arranged with a prescribed space so that the resistant films 111 and 131 are mutually opposed, and a polarizing plate 120 is laminated on the outer surface side of at least one substrate 105. The polarizing plate 120 has a planar polarizer 102, and a protective film 101 stuck to the opposite surface to the substrate 105 of the polarizer 102 through an adhesive.
