PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orientated magnetic field generating device which can orient magnetically good a magnetic layer of a disk having a magnetic layer after forming many films. SOLUTION: This device is an orientated magnetic field generating device which applies a magnetic field of a radius direction of a disk to the disk having a magnetic layer formed on a non-magnetic substrate of a disk type having a center hole and orients the magnetic layer, the device is constituted of a cylindrical magnet 2, a columnar magnet 1, and a pole 5 for inducing magnetic flux, the columnar magnet 1 is arranged at a center of the cylindrical magnet 2, the columnar magnet 1 and the cylindrical magnet 2 are magnetized with inverse polarity each other, and the pole 5 for inducing magnetic flux comprising of soft porcelain material and holding the disk is arranged at an upper end plane of the columnar magnet 1.
