<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, convenient and inexpensive printer being connected directly with a digital camera in order to control the camera to display the information of a photographed image or a desired image and to perform printing while confirming it. <P>SOLUTION: The camera 1 comprises a color LCD 4 and a mode switch 6 for making a switch to an image reproduction mode (PL). The camera 1 is connected directly with a printer 15 through a communication cable 14. A menu screen and cursor data are transmitted from the printer 15 by means of a MENU key 18f and displayed on the color LCD 4. In a list print mode, character data is generated from number of image sheet data transferred from the camera 1, transferred to the camera 1 and displayed and then list printing is performed with image data transferred from the camera 1. An arbitrary image is displayed from the camera 1 by means of an EASY key 18e, a "-" key 18a, a "+" key 18b and the like of the printer 15 and a desired image is determined. The image is printed while being combined with patterns, e.g. a background selected from the menu screen, a picture postcard, a calendar, a mini-label and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
