<p>A sightseeing tour system via the Internet enables a user to perform a realistic sightseeing tour by walking on a street and driving a car on a video image, shopping while looking at the interior of a shop, and accessing an information bureau and a hospital when in trouble. Thus, the system improves its function. The system includes a database section (11) containing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional map data and CG, a video data section (12) containing 360-degree view of a sightseeing object, video, moving picture and still image video data, and video data on interior of each shop and hotel, a CPU and Web server section (14) for performing connection with the Internet and other control by an instruction from a customer terminal (13), a sightseeing map control section (15) for controlling image display of a map (54 (71)) based on the aforementioned data to the customer terminal (13), a purchase management control section (16) for managing shopping at a sightseeing location, and an information providing control section (17) for searching the database (11) and providing data on the shop interior and commodities to the customer terminal (13).</p> |
