<p>Disclosed are deep-drawn membranes made of cast polyarylate films, at least comprising a polyarylate (PAR) having a structural unit of formula (I), in which R1, R2, R3, and R4 independently present hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, or halogen while R5 and R6 independently represent hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, phenyl, or halogen. Also disclosed is the use of deep- drawn membranes made of cast PAR films as sound transducers, preferably as microphone or loudspeaker membranes. The invention further relates to cast P AR films for producing said membranes, cast PAR solutions for producing the cas t PAR films, and methods for producing deep-drawn membranes made of cast PAR films and for producing cast PAR films.</p> |
