PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product-housing container which is produced economically and used simply and which has sufficiently long durability. SOLUTION: The container 1 having at least one nearly circular member is provided with: (a) a first part 3 for defining a first housing 7; (b) a second part 20 which is designed so as to reversibly cover the first housing 7 by pivoting with respect to the first part 3 with an axis vertical to the circular member as a center when the container 1 is in a closed state; and (c) an opening and closing mechanism which is provided with (i) first guide structure having a function for preventing the operation of the second part 20 to the first part 3 except for pivot with the axis in the center separately from a function for pivot and (ii) a second structure designed so as to reversibly and surely fix the second part 20 to avoid pivot with respect to the first part 3 when the first structure is at a guide position, and which is formed by connecting the first part 3 and the second part 20.
