PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recording and reproducing data fast by recording/reproducing the data without waiting for a disk medium to make one revolution after switching a head in a sector servo and hybrid disk drive. SOLUTION: In response to a read control command or a write control command following a head switching command for switching to an effective head among a plurality of heads 52A to 52C, a disk control part 2 is notified of write/read acceptance/rejection information on the basis of the number of times when the heads 52A to 52C pass through the area of servo information for head positioning written on the data surface.
