PURPOSE: To provide a rocker arm of stable quality in which the rigidity of a valve inserting part is sufficient. CONSTITUTION: The valve inserting part 10 is worked by repeatedly performing end milling and grooving under adjusted pressurizing force in such a manner that these operations are divided for a plurality of times. The valve inserting part is formed by plastically deforming a piece of sheet so that a metal flow 30 between a valve guide walls 28 and 29 and a connection wall 8 is continued. Thus, the rocker arm 1 of stable quality in which the rigidity of the valve inserting part can be secured is obtained. |
