PURPOSE: A method for controlling a use of computer using a program is provided to control computers of a common work group conveniently by residing a computer user control program in a RAM in each client and controlling uses of each computer in a server, thereby managing uses of many computers easily. CONSTITUTION: In installing a computer use control program in a client(20), the computer use control program resides in a RAM and a user who uses the client(20) does not recognize the computer use control program. When the client(20) is turned on, the computer use control program resides in the RAM, the computer use control program is not recognized by general programs. The user's computer is controlled by a server(10) in a remote place. The server(10) transmits a control command to the client(20) through a communication network(30), the client(20) controls an operation of the client(20) or checks an operation state of the client(20) by the control command of the server(10) and transmits the result to the server(10). Thus, the server(10) controls an operation of the client(20) or checks an operation state of the client(20).
