VISUAL GROUP INTERFACE FOR GROUP CONNECTION

PURPOSE: A visual group interface for group connection is provided to offer the desktop connection for a group facilitating group communication and activity by using an icon representing the interaction between online group members and the underlying functionality related to the icon. CONSTITUTION: A desktop screen(201) is provided on a display device of the first computer. The desktop includes a selectable group icon(207(1)) provided visually and is related to a computer user group. If the first user selects the group icon, the transmission for communication to the user group through the network is started from the first computer. It is unnecessary for the first user to specify a member of the user group during or after selection.
