PURPOSE: An intake duct for an air cleaner of a vehicle is provided to reduce noise by passing air fast through the intake duct having the oval section, to improve the performance of the engine by increasing the amount of inflow air to the engine, and to cut down expenses by reducing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: An intake duct(100) is combined with an air cleaner(200) to purify and flow air into an engine, and composed of an oval outlet(110) and an inlet(120) formed variously according to the kind of vehicles. The intake duct has the elliptical section with twisting, and the outlet includes a fitting hole(111). An oval intake port(210) of the air cleaner is combined with the outlet of the intake duct, and assembled with the fitting hole by a fitting unit(211). The section of the intake duct is oval for decreasing resistance coefficient of section. Noise is reduced by passing air fast through the intake duct, and the performance of the engine is improved by increasing the amount of inflow air into the engine. The number of parts is reduced by directly connecting the intake duct to the air cleaner.
