ANONYMITY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USER PRIVACY PROTECTION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An anonymity system and method for user privacy protection in a mobile communication system is provided to protect a user's privacy in mobile communication environments and to prevent the mobile location of a user from being traced by the third person. CONSTITUTION: If a caller's MS(Mobile Station)(10) provides a PMSI(Pseudonym Mobile Subscriber Identity) to an HNP(Home Network Provider)(12), the HNP(12) requests an HAS(Home Anonymity Server)(11) to send authentication data for call setup. At this moment, the HAS(11) issues a certificate to the MS(10). If the MS(10) provides the issued certificate to the HNP(12), the HNP(12) transmits the data to create a session key between the HNP(12) and the MS(10) after confirming the certificate. The MS(10) signs to the data associated with session key creation. If the session key is created, call setup with a callee is formed and call contents are encrypted through the created session key.
