METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSOCIATING ACTIONS WITH SEMANTIC LABELS IN ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT

PURPOSE: A method and a system for associating actions with semantic labels in an electronic document are provided to associate the actions with a character string of a text annotated with the semantic label without recognizing the character string. CONSTITUTION: An application program module(205) annotates the electronic document with the semantic labels. An action DLL(Dynamic Linking Library)(215) connected to the application program module obtains the labels. Action plug-ins(225) obtain the labels and determine the actions based on the labels.
