PURPOSE: A device for improving the performance of a jig used in a vehicle assembly line is provided to improve the position error of the jig by using a master body and a computer. CONSTITUTION: A device for improving the performance of a jig(30) used in a vehicle assembly line is composed of the following; a marking gauge(41) marking the circumference of a hole(21) formed at a master body, a visual sensor(42) detecting the position(h2) of the hole and the position(h3) marked by the marking gauge, a shaft(43) at which the marking gauge and the visual sensor are mounted, a housing(44) supporting the shaft on the jig, and an operating unit(45) installed in the housing and rotating and moving the shaft. The operating unit is controlled by a PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)(60). A computer(50) processes the position of the hole and the position marked by the marking gauge.
