PURPOSE: An LCD driving device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the display error caused by signal distortion by compensating pixel data distorted by high impedance influence of LOG(Line On Glass) type signal lines by level shifting and converting the data to analogue pixel data to supply to data lines. CONSTITUTION: An LCD driving device includes a plurality of data ICs for divisionally driving data lines of an LC panel. Each of the data ICs includes a level shift array(62). The level shift array carries out sampling pixel data input from a signal control part(44) in response to sampling signals of a shift register array(48). Voltage levels of the sampled pixel data are compared with a reference voltage level. If there is a difference, the sampled pixel data is level-shifted to the reference voltage level to be output as a regulated pixel data. The sampling and the level-shifting are carried out in sequence, so that pixel data waveform distorted by line resistance of LOG signal lines and parasitic capacitance is compensated to normal pixel data waveform. |
