PURPOSE: To provide a refrigerator having a storage chamber of a low oxygen atmosphere controlling the atmosphere in a refrigerator by CA (control of the atmosphere) and preserving foods for a long period free from maintenance. CONSTITUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a refrigerated storage space 10, a refrigerated storage space 5, and a decompressed storage space 9 cooled by a cold air flow independent of the other storage spaces. This refrigerator is characterized in that a hermetically sealable storage vessel 19 is disposed in the storage space to enable the indirect cooling by direct cooling or hermetical sealing and, when the vessel is made into the hermetical space, the air inside the space is exhausted to be tuned into the decompressed state.
