PURPOSE: A disc recording device for a hard disc drive fabrication is provided to record data to a plurality of discs simultaneously before assembling a hard disc drive, thereby reducing the speed for producing the hard disc drive and removing any additional disc formatting after the hard disc drive assembling. CONSTITUTION: A disc recording device for a hard disc drive fabrication includes a spindle(11) mounting a plurality of discs simultaneously, a spindle motor(12) for rotating the spindle, and a data recording unit(20) for carrying out formatting the plurality of discs by forming tracks and sectors. A protecting unit(30) protects the discs rotating at a high speed during the data recording from air flow for minimizing the recording errors. The recording unit is provided apart from the spindle by a predetermined distance and has a traverse supporting shaft(21) in parallel to an axial line of the spindle, arms(22) rotatably coupled with the supporting shaft and extended toward the spindle by a predetermined distance to approach surfaces of the discs, an arm driving motor(23) for rotating the arms, and recording heads(24) coupled with free ends of the arms. The protecting unit has an arc-shaped protecting cover(31) and a guiding element for guiding the movement of the cover to and fro. The cover prevents the vibration of the discs by the resistance of air applied to the discs.
