<p>Construction element comprises blocks (5) of compression-proof insulating material, e.g. a mineral-bound fiber material, preferably cement- or magnesite-bound wood fiber blocks, struts (6) of wood arranged between the blocks, and at least one plank element (7, 8) on one side of the construction element. The struts are thin plates extending in one plane perpendicular to the plane of the construction element and extending over the entire thickness measurement of the blocks. The struts are glued to the blocks.
