PURPOSE: A method for automatically providing position information to an Internet phone terminal having a fixed number is provided to automatically offer position information of an area in which the Internet phone terminal belongs currently. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone terminal(103) transmits an Internet address of the Internet phone terminal(103) to a call agent(105)(S401). The call agent(105) transmits the Internet address of the Internet phone terminal(103) to an Internet address management server(107), and requests position information of the Internet phone terminal(103)(S403). The Internet address management server(107) reads position information of an area in which the Internet phone terminal(103) belongs from a database of the Internet address management server(107) on the basis of the Internet address, and transmits position information to the call agent(105)(S405). The call agent(105) maps position information with the Internet address, and manages mapped information.
