PURPOSE: A customized multimedia telegram service system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to create a personal customized multimedia telegram by extending a conventional single telegram service and voice telegram service and including a function capable of editing an audio file directly and editing a message in a card directly. CONSTITUTION: A web server(23) supports a multimedia telegram service guidance and preparation for many service users(21) connected through a communication network. When a multimedia telegram is prepared, the web server(23) supports an insertion of an image and a character message and informs a delivery state with respect to a transmitted customized multimedia telegram. When a multimedia telegram is prepared, an ARS(22) supports an audio message recording and informs a delivery state as a voice. A telephone DB server(28) and a member information DB(30) map a destination address to a member ID or a telephone number of a receiver and store/manage the mapped destination address. A multimedia component managing system(25) and a multimedia component DB(29) construct a database based on multimedia components inputted by a service user for editing a multimedia telegram. A telegram main system(24) and a telegram DB(27) manage telegram receipt details and a payment/delivery state of the service user and manage a packaged customize multimedia telegram and destination information. A multimedia telegram creation system of a receiver service provider(26) creates an actual multimedia actual telegram based on a received customize multimedia telegram and forwards a multimedia actual telegram to a receiver.
