<p>The apparatus has two contact devices (13,14,13a, 14a) for connecting respective discharge lamps, each with two incandescent filaments. Two current control devices connected in parallel with respective contact devices control the current through respective incandescent filaments. The contact devices are connected in series and a sequential starting capacitor is connected in parallel with one of the contact devices. An Independent claim is also included for electronic ballast.</p> |
