LOW-LOSS FERRITE MATERIALS WITH ADJUSTABLE PERMEABILITY

The invention concerns a novel family of ferrite material having low magnetic losses at low-level induction as well as at high-level induction (0.1 m Tesla to 50 m Tesla). Therefor a proportion of nickel of prior art ferrite materials is substituted with a proportion of magnesium and copper. This novel family corresponds to the following chemical formula: NixMgyZnzCuwCoeFe2+/- delta O4 with 2(x+y+z+w+e)+3(2+/- delta )=8; delta = 0.05; 0.005 = e = 0.1; 0.05 = z = 0.6; 0.005 < y < 0.1; 0.1 < w < 0.25. The invention is applicable to inductance and transformer.
