<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for cooling hot blast furnace to prevent explosion is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is characterized in that a main supply pipe for spraying water is connected to discharge line of water spray pump(100) for supplying cooling water into the blast furnace, a plurality of subsidiary supply pipes are connected to the main supply pipe and an upper part of the blast furnace to uniformly spray cooling water into the blast furnace, drain line(101) of cooling water(160) is connected to cooling water storage tank with being collected at a plurality of subsidiary pipes through tuyere mounting spot, a sensor(140) for sensing level of cooling water in the blast furnace is installed at a part of tuyere, sensor for sensing first stage water level of wet type dust collector is installed on discharge line of first stage dust removing water of the wet type dust collector, pressure control valve(110) is installed directly under the center bleeder(21) of blast furnace top, cut off plate(120) is installed at flange of an intermediate part of blowing pipe to cut off backflow of cooling water inside the blast furnace into the blowing pipe, and a manometer(125) for sensing internal pressure of the blast furnace is installed on an intermediate part of ascension pipe(11) to check pressure inside the blast furnace during the cooling process of residues of the blast furnace.</p> |
