PURPOSE: A gear driven type glue mixing and pumping apparatus is provided to improve an adhesive ability of glue for use in papering by uniformly maintaining a density of the glue, and to reduce a space required for the installation of a power transmission device by adopting a gear driven type power transmission manner. CONSTITUTION: The gear driven type glue mixing and pumping apparatus comprises a pump(130) mounted at a bottom surface of a glue container(4) for the discharge of glue, a mixer shaft(121) for rotating an impeller(8) inside the glue container, and a motor(110) for driving a pump shaft(131) and the mixer shaft. At the lower end of the mixer shaft is mounted a mixer shaft clutch bearing(123) which is adapted to transmit a driving force only when a mixer gear(122) rotates in one direction. At the upper end of the pump shaft is mounted a pump shaft clutch bearing(133) which is adapted to transmit a driving force only when a pump gear(132) rotates in one direction. The mixer gear is engaged with a motor gear(112) mounted to a motor shaft(111), and is further engaged with the pump gear.
