A clamp device comprises a support frame member 12, a lower clamp unit 14a and an upper clamp unit 14b supported by the support frame member 12. The lower clamp unit 14b has a pair of lower jaws and first actuating means 34 for actuating at least one of the lower jaws between clamped and unclamped positions. The upper clamp unit 14b has a first upper jaw and a second upper jaw, and a second actuating means 40 for actuating at least one of the upper jaws between clamped and unclamped positions, the first upper jaw being fixed for movement with one of the lower jaws. |
