PURPOSE: An apparatus for dehydrating waste sludge is provided which is used to dehydrate waste sludge so that the waste sludge is formed into cake by properly diluting waste sludge generated from various plants with water and neutralizer. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for dehydrating waste sludge comprises a plurality of membrane plates(400) and chamber plates(500) that are alternately installed; a guide on which the membrane plates(400) and chamber plates(500) are put to be supported; base frames for supporting the end part of both sides of the guide; and a filter cloth inserted into a space between the membrane plates(400) and chamber plates(500) in a zigzag shape, wherein the membrane plates(400) comprise a sliding supporting stand(402) installed at both ends of the membrane plates(400) so that the membrane plates(400) is slidingly put on the guide, upper outer inclined plane(404) and lower outer inclined plane(406) that are outwardly slantly formed at upper and lower end parts of the membrane plates(400) so that a female groove shaped space part(408) is formed, a supporting stand(410) installed at the lower part of both sides of the membrane plates(400) so that nozzle pipe(412) having a plurality of injection nozzles(414) and roller(416) for transferring filter cloth are installed between both sides of the supporting stand(410), and discharge hole(420) and discharge pipe(418) installed at a proximity part of the upper side of the supporting stand(410) to discharge filtrate, and wherein the chamber plates(500) comprise a sliding supporting stand(502) installed at both ends of the chamber plates(500) so that the chamber plates(500) is slidingly put on the guide, upper inner inclined plane(504) and lower inner inclined plane(506) that are inwardly slantly formed at upper and lower end parts of the chamber plates(500), a sludge receiving part(508) which is formed at the central part of the chamber plates(500) in such a shape that a lower direction of the sludge receiving part(508) is opened to receive sludge and form the received sludge in a cake shape, a supporting stand(510) installed at both sides of the upper part of the chamber plates(500), scraper(514) and roller(516) installed between both sides of the supporting stand(510), and a sludge inlet(518) formed at the proximity part of the lower side of the supporting stand(510) so that sludge is flown into the sludge inlet(518).
