A DNA array to be used for detecting a target nucleic acid molecule in a specimen wherein a nucleic acid probe having a base sequence substantially complementary to the base sequence of the target nucleic acid molecule is immobilized on a substrate, characterized by having one or more probes selected from the group consisting of one or more inner standard probes for calibrating an amplification reaction of the target nucleic acid, one or more external standard probes for calibrating the detection operation and the amount of the probe(s) and a probe for calibrating the amount or density of the above-described nucleic acid probe which is formed by the same procedure as employed in the above-described nucleic acid probe.
