The invention relates to an electromechanical contactor comprising an electromagnet (20) and wiping contacts holder inside a body (10). The electromagnet (20) is located at the rear side of a body (10), and a plane (PB) of some control connections is located at the front side of a plane (PA) of the power connections. Some control terminals (B) and some control terminals (C) are located in a controlling/monitoring terminal block (60) at the front side. Some terminals (26) of the coil are connected to the control terminals (B) by some transverse conductors which are enclosed in some channels made between an inner surface of te body and a outer surface of an arc-shaped housing.
