<p>An assembly of a toilet seat and a device for manipulating the position of the toilet seat with respect to a toilet bowl is provided with a first part that in use is joined to the toilet seat and a second part that in use is joined to the toilet bowl. These parts are able to hinge with respect to one another from an up position into a down end position, the device being provided with a spring for moving the first and the second part into the up position. The hinge is provided with locking means for holding the device, against the spring action, in a locked position between the up position and the down end position, close to said end position.</p> |
