<p>The invention relates to a method, system and apparatus, for the reception, processing and storage of data received by a broadcast data receiver, saved data allowing the subsequent generation of video and audio for television programs and also including data for interactive facilities typically relating to said programs. Upon the user selection to record a program by storing data in a memory means, the related interactive data is also stored. The interactive data is typically broadcast in a carousel format, (repeating data loops) and when stored the data for one loop is stored in a file and only any data change in subsequent lops is stored in further files, thereby using reduced storage space in the memory means.</p> |
