PURPOSE: An apparatus for restricting use of home electronic devices is provided to control efficiently the home electronic devices by restricting the use of home electronic devices during a particular period. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for restricting use of home electronic devices includes a buried type receptacle(4), a timer control button(6), a time display window(5), a microprocessor portion(20), a remote control signal receiver(11), a timer(21), and a relay switch(31), and a cover having a locking device. A mode is selected by the timer control button(6) and the timer(21). In addition, the timer(21) is used for executing an use restriction mode and setting an use restriction program. A video output cable and a terminal(7) are connected to an external input terminal of a home electronic device in order to display a programming process of the use restriction program on a monitor(28).
