X-RAY DETECTING SUBSTRATE HAVING OPTICAL CRYSTAL LAYER

PURPOSE: An X-ray detecting substrate having a photonic crystal layer is provided to maximize optical efficiency in a receptor layer by minimizing loss of light caused by a differential refractive index between a fluorescent layer and an electrode layer. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray detecting substrate includes an X-ray receptor layer(100), a photonic crystal layer(400) and a fluorescent layer(500). A read-out device(800) is provided to convert an electric signal to image information. Materials forming the receptor layer(100) are exited by incident light. Electrode layers are formed at upper and lower surfaces of the receptor layer(100). Photonic crystal forming the photonic crystal layer(400) has dielectric constant, which is periodically varied. The photonic crystal layer(400) has a plurality of holes formed in a lattice pattern. The fluorescent layer(500) is made of fluorescent materials capable of forming visual ray.
