PURPOSE: An evaporator for a refrigerator and a coating method of the same are provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to allow frost to be easily removed. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator includes a meandering refrigerant tube(10) having a moisture proof coating layer formed on a surface thereof, and linear sections and curved sections alternately formed; and a plurality of radiating wires(11) having moisture proof coating layers formed on surfaces thereof, respectively, and arranged on the linear sections of the meandering refrigerant tube in parallel with each other in longitudinal direction. A second moisture proof coating layer is formed on the meandering refrigerant tube and the radiating wires coupled to each other. A method includes a step forming the moisture proof coating layer on the surface of the meandering refrigerant tube; a step forming the moisture proof coating layers on the radiating wires; a step arranging the radiating wires on the linear sections of the meandering refrigerant tube; and a step forming the second moisture proof coating layer on the surfaces of the meandering refrigerant tube and the radiating wires coupled to each other.
