A three or four wheeled scooter has a support frame with one or two foot rests (7) at the rear and with handgrips (6a) for steering. A child's seat (10) is fitted to the front frame, facing forwards, and with a bottom bracket (13) doubling as a footrest and bumper bar. The child's seat is fitted with a folding canopy (15) and with a safety belt (15). The child's seat can be unfastened from the support frame.
