Sanitary shorts, while highly retaining fashionability, are capable of firmly wrapping absorptive articles in a wide range. The sanitary shorts have a main body (11). Ornamental fabrics (25) are attached along leg holes (16). An absorptive article attaching portion is formed on the inner surface of a crotch positioned between the leg holes. The ornamental fabrics are disposed on both edges of the main body as they are directed from a crotch boundary (12) to the waist top. The ornamental fabrics are attached such that their outer edges (25a) appear at the leg holes and their inner edges (25b) are superposed on the outer surface of the main body. The first edge (22b) of the main body extends along the inner edge of the ornamental fabric. The second edge (22c) extends from the lower end of the first edge toward the crotch boundary.
