The drive has a motor (26) coupled to a profile part and a drive wheel (30). A cable (33,34) is connected on a side of another profile part and engaged with the drive wheel. A guide wheel (35,36) for the cable is connected to the former profile part in a stationary manner. A distance between the guide and the drive wheels is greater than a distance between the cable on latter profile and the drive wheel. An Independent claim is also included for a length adjustable housing.
