FISHING LURE

A fishing lure comprising of two stationary barb-less wire hooks facing upwards and one movable barb-less hook facing downward which changes positions when tension is exerted on the fishing line by the fish caught on the hook ends. When a fish is insisting o n going in the opposite direction this causes the barb-less wire hook to swivel on its connected axi s, thereby expanding the stationary hooks and the swivel hook to spread wide apart. This makes it ver y difficult for the fish to open its mouth wide enough to escape the hold of the three barb-less hook s since they are now spreading open the fish mouth to its maximum. The barb-less, weed-less hooks make it very acceptable for releasing the fish if found not to be acceptable in size or species. By simply pressing on the back of the central barb-less hook, the sharp hook ends retract from their original holes without tearing or damaging the fish so as to be able to be released f or future growth. Therefore this lure would be more humane in catch and release, which is becoming very popular and the law in many locations, and gives the fisherman a better chance of catchi ng a fish and releasing it without serious damage with this device than with ordinary lures with barbs.
