PURPOSE: Provided is a surface-modified barium titanate of which the surface is coated with an additive uniformly. A slurry for producing a multi-layer ceramic condenser is also provided to improve the dielectric property and work life. CONSTITUTION: The method for making a surface-modified barium titanate comprises: the step(S110) of mixing and stirring barium titanate powder, an additive, a stabilizer and urea with a solvent; the step(S114,S118) of aging the stirred mixture containing barium titanate to form a suspension of the surface-modified barium titanate having a core-shell structure; and the step of drying the barium titanate suspension. Further, a binder solution is added to the barium titanate suspension to produce a slurry for multi-layer ceramic condenser.
