PURPOSE: A high density multilayered optical disk, and a method for writing data by recording layers according to the same are provided to more efficiently use and manage a plurality of recording layers by additionally writing and managing management information for writing data by connecting or dividing recording layers. CONSTITUTION: Inner spare areas and outer spare areas for managing defects are separately assigned to a plurality of recording layers of a high density multilayered optical disk. Management information for writing data regardless of the recording layers or separately writing data by recording layers is additionally written at a specific area of each recording layer. The management information is included in disk definition structure information and disk information written and managed at a lead-in area or lead-out area separately assigned to each recording layer.
