<p>A wheelchair lift (10) configured to be foldable into quadrants by a two-step process, wherein the first step folds the platform assembly (50) crosswise and the second step folds the platform assembly (50) in the lengthwise direction. To facilitate folding, the platform assembly (50) includes first and second inner platforms (52,56), and first and second outer platforms (54,58). In the first step of the folding process, the first and second inner platforms (52,56) fold with respect to the first and second outer platforms (54,58).
