<p>A terminal (100) determines the travel speed of itself (100) and judges whether it is necessary to switch the radio link to either a radio link (102) not using a soft handover or a radio link (103) using a soft handover according to its determined travel speed. If the radio link is judged to be switched, the terminal (100) sends a soft-handover use/nonuse switching request (106) to switch the radio link to the base station (101). The base station (101) switches the soft-handover use/nonuse in response to the soft-handover use/nonuse switching request (106) and sends a soft-handover use/nonuse switching instruction (107) to switch the soft-handover use/nonuse to the terminal (100). The terminal (100) switches the soft-handover use/nonuse according to the soft-handover use/nonuse instruction (107).</p> |
