PURPOSE: A system and a method for settling a car related payment using the DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) are provided to conveniently settle the car related payment without visiting an organization, or using the Internet banking or the tele-banking. CONSTITUTION: A smart card(110) stores electronic cash linked with an account of a payer, and settles the car related payment with the electronic cash by using the DSRC. A car payment terminal(120) writes and transmits an unpaid payment calculating data to a financial management system(301), and outputs a result processing the payment. A payment management server(150) updates and stores the payment information of each car, and outputs the unpaid payment of a car by searching the stored information. A payment collection server(140) requests and receives the unpaid payment information from the car payment terminal, collects the payment from the smart card, and offers the unpaid payment collection particulars to the electronic cash management server(160). Relays(130) interface the DSRC between the payment collection server and the smart card within a communication cell. |
