PURPOSE: A post for furniture and a connection structure thereof are provided to enable the overall length of the post to be easily extended, thereby achieving various shapes of furniture variable in size. CONSTITUTION: The furniture post is configured in such a manner that a plurality of vertical holding flanges(12) protrude from an outer peripheral surface(10a) of a cylindrical post(10). The vertical holding flanges(12) are arranged at regular distances throughout the circumference thereof. The cylindrical post has a hollow structure, and is provided at the inner peripheral surface thereof with a plurality of fixing protrusions(14), to which a plurality of vertical fastening members are fastened. The flanges and the fastening protrusions are extended in a longitudinal direction of the post, thereby forming a band.
