<p>A compact vacuum system capable of effectively performing both vacuum sucking and air supply. A general purpose vacuum pump (12) is provided in a vacuum system (10). On the exhaust side of the vacuum pump (12), a positive pressure-side tank (22), a positive pressure-side solenoid valve (24), and a positive pressure-side connection piping portion (26) are connected in sequence. On the negative pressure side of the vacuum pump (12), a negative pressure-side tank (32), a negative pressure-side solenoid valve (34) and a negative pressure-side connection piping portion (36) are connected in sequence. The vacuum system (10) is provided with a suction pad (44) for sucking and holding a piece of work by air suction force. A connection piping portion (46) where the suction pad (44) is connected, the positive pressure-side connection piping portion (26), and the negative pressure-side connection piping portion (36) are communicated with one another by a three-way connection portion (50). One unit of the vacuum pump (12) can switchably supply either of positive pressure and negative pressure to the suction pad (44).</p> |
