PURPOSE: A falling ore treating apparatus is provided to prevent a nozzle of a gas dispersing plate from being clogged by discharging falling ore to an exterior before falling ore is attached to the nozzle of the gas dispersing plate. CONSTITUTION: A falling ore treating apparatus includes a falling ore bin(41) and a controller(46). An outer surface of the falling ore bin(41) is connected to the other end of an ascending pipe(42), which is connected to a wall of a fluid bed reactor(10). The falling ore bin(41) is also connected to the other end of a gas exhaust pipe(44), which is connected to a gas discharging pipe(13). Pressure in the falling ore bin(41) is maintained lower than pressure at a lower portion of a gas dispersing plate(12). The controller(46) intermittently opens or closes a falling ore discharging valve formed in the ascending pipe(42) and a gas exhaust valve formed in the gas exhaust pipe(44). Pressure at the lower portion of the gas dispersing plate(12) is measured by a first pressure meter(47) and pressure in the falling ore bin(41) is measured by a second pressure meter(48).
