The present invention concerns an insulating mortar intended as filler in floors and roofs and exhibiting very good heat- as well as sound-insulating properties. It consists of a dry mixture of cement and filler that is ready for mixing with water. The base mixture comprises 90 to 94 percent by volume of recycled, hard polyurethane that is ground to a mixture of powder and granulate with grain size less than 8 mm, and 6 to 10 percent by volume of cement, preferably 92 percent by volume of the recycled, hard polyurethane and 8 percent by volume of cement. The proposed insulating mortar can be used for the manufacture of a building element. |
