[Also in Division F2] A toothed wheel, e.g. a gear-wheel, a chainwheel or a toothed belt pulley, comprises a metal hub 1 and two pressed sheet-metal discs 2, 3 with outwatdly-rolled flanges 5 ... 8 at their internal and external peripheries, the discs being welded to the hub and to each other, and a tooth ring 4 made of synthetic thermoplastic material. The outer flanges 6, 8 are provided with indentations 9 to form an anchorage for the tooth ring 4, and the two discs 2, 3 are welded together with indentations therein staggered in relationship to one another by half a pitch. |
