<p>An attachment is described for a conveyance to enable an umbrella to be secured to the conveyance. The attachment comprises a cross-bar (12), clamps (18) on the cross-bar (12) for securing the cross-bar (12) to two spaced points on the frame of the conveyance, and at least one location (20, 30) along the cross-bar (12) between the two clamps (18) for enabling the shaft of an umbrella to be coupled to the cross-bar. The cross-bar (12) is shaped at the or each location (20, 30) to engage with the shaft of the umbrella in a form-locking manner to prevent the umbrella from rotating about the longitudinal axis of the cross-bar (12).</p> |
