[Also in Division B3] A ring gear 52 with which a plurality of pinions 62 mesh to allow rotation of stop arms 68, is provided with a roller 80 supported on a tubular inflatable member 82 whereby when pressure fluid is introduced into the member 82 from either end the movement of the roller due to the inflation of the member rotates the ring gear and hence the stop arms 68 to move stops 69 on the stop arms to be moved into or out of alignment with non- rotatable chucks 54 of a friction welder. |
